Responsibilities
- Measure and cut drywall according to specifications, ensuring accurate fitting.
- Install drywall panels using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Tape, mud, and sand seams to create smooth, seamless surfaces.
- Repair damaged or cracked drywall as needed.
- Apply texture to walls and ceilings, if required.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Minimum Education Requirement: Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Drywaller in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing drywall.
- Solid understanding of taping, mudding, and sanding techniques.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and follow specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
